The voltage in the Netherlands is 220-230V AC. Adapters and transformers are available from the hotel reception.

For your convenience, small items of equipment, such as an iron and ironing board, are available. Please contact reception about this.

AIR-CONDITIONING
Hote GuestCompass is fully air conditioned. Our system works as follows:
➢ Press the ON / OFF button. Use the arrows ▲ and ▼ to adjust the temperature. Adjusted to the weather, the system is set to cool the room in warm weather and heat the room in cold weather. Please contact reception for further information.

ANSWERPHONE
The telephone in your room does not have an answerphone. People wishing to contact you can leave a message at reception.

If you wish to use the services of a local bank, the reception in the lobby can provide you with addresses of banks in the area.

BAR
You can order drinks and a selection of snacks at the bar. The bar is open every day from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m.

BICYCLES
If you wish to use our bicycles, please ask at reception about availability. (€ 10,00 per day)

BREAKFAST
You can have breakfast in our breakfast restaurant from 07:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m., Monday to Friday. Breakfast is served from 08:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. on Saturdays, Sundays and bank holidays.

BUSINESS SERVICES
You can contact reception for fax services, photocopies, internet and sending post.

CHECK-IN
You can check in from 3:00 p.m. If you would like to use the room before this time, you should book a day earlier.

CHECK-OUT
The official check-out time is 12:00 noon. If this hour is not suitable, we request that you notify reception. They will be pleased to assist you. If you check out after 12:00 noon, an extra amount will be charged. Please contact reception for further information.
If you check out on Sunday then you can make use of our Lazy Sunday Checkout and then may only check out at 15:00.

CHURCH SERVICES
A list of churches and times of services can be obtained from reception.

CLEANING SERVICES
Your room will be cleaned every day. Housekeeping is available until 1:00 p.m..

COFFEE AND TEA-MAKING FACILITIES
A coffee and tea machine is available free of charge on every floor next to the elevator. In case you would like to have a water boiler in de room, please ask our reception staff.

COT
Please contact reception for this. We do not charge for placing a cot in your room.

DINNER DELIVERY SERVICE
Het Hampshire Hotel – City Groningen does not have a restaurant.
Therefore we offer the ability to order food. You can eat this on the room or in the breakfast area.
On the desk you can find the ABC Dinner Delivery List. There are 4 different restaurants with various dishes on the list. Read the instructions on the list to order dinner.

DRINKING WATER
Tap water in the Netherlands is drinkable.

DRUGS
The use of soft drugs is tolerated in the Netherlands; the use of these in the hotel, however, is strictly forbidden and will lead to immediate removal from the hotel and a fine of €150,00 to be paid immediately.

DRY CLEANING
Hotel GuestCompass offers laundry, dry cleaning and ironing services, except on Sundays and public holidays. Clothing (washing) handed to reception before 9:00 a.m. will be returned around 8:00 pm the same day. Dry cleaning requires more time, it will be returned after 2 business days. For a complete explanation, please ask at the reception.

DUTY MANAGER
The Duty Manager can be contacted 24 hours a day and will be pleased to assist you.
